Pinequill Studio
A small Iyengar-tradition yoga studio in the Sloan's Lake neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, opened in 2014 and operating from a single room above a hardware store.
About the studio
Pinequill Studio opened in September 2014 on the second floor of 2118 Newton Street, Denver CO 80211, above the long-running Cottonwood Hardware. The studio is owned and primarily taught by Bevin Larsdotter, certified at the Junior Intermediate I level by the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States. There is one practice room, eleven props sets, and no shower.
Schedule and class size
Pinequill teaches eight regularly scheduled classes per week: three Level I, three Level II, one restorative, and one Iyengar-method pranayama class on Sunday mornings. Each class is capped at eleven students because of the prop count. The studio does not offer drop-in yoga before noon and does not run heated, vinyasa-flow, or yin classes.
Pricing and policies
A single class costs $24, a five-class card costs $105, and an unlimited monthly membership is $185. New students are required to attend one introductory series of four Level I classes ($72 total) before booking any other class. Mats and props are provided at no charge; outside mats are not allowed because of the studio's strict cleaning protocol.
Teacher training
Pinequill hosts an Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training program every other year, accredited by the IYNAUS. The 2025–2027 cohort began in October 2025 with twelve students; applications for the 2027–2029 cohort will open in spring 2027. Teacher trainees are required to maintain a personal practice log countersigned monthly by Bevin or a senior assistant teacher.
